The "SW2000 Series" is designed for use in telecommunications and power distribution applications, such as uninterruptible power supplies, for switching under continuous load. These contactors are primarily used for DC loads, but can also be used for AC loads. The silver alloy contact chips mounted on the main contacts of the two-contact system have excellent weld resistance, wear resistance, and high conductivity.
